Idyllic Islands

Denmark has between 400 and 500 islands and 70-80 of them are habitat. One is more idyllic and beautiful than the other and has their own individual charm. When visiting them you will experience the real authentic Denmark.

 Bornholm

is an island in the most eastern part of Denmark just south of Sweden. It is actually closer geographically to Sweden than to the rest of Denmark. Therefore is is quite normal to drive through Sweden and catch the ferry from there to Bornholm. It takes around 1,5 hour and sailing from Denmark it takes around 5,5 hours.

Bornholm is 588 km2 and has just under 40.000 habitants (2020).

Møn

Møn is an island just southeast of the biggest Danish island Zealand. There are 2 bridges connecting the island with other islands. One is from the island Zealand (where you find Copenhagen) and the other one is from the little island Bogø.

Møn is 218 km2 and has just under 9.400 habitants (2017).
