Here you\u00b4ll find beautiful beaches, forrests, nice walks &#8211; the most famous one is called cam\u00f8noen and then M\u00f8ns Klint which is the no. 1 attracktion on the island.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00f8n also has big areas for holiday houses for the summer. These are mainly owned by people from bigger towns or cities where they go here for the weekends or holidays &#8211; specially in the summer.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00f8n is also known for the &#8220;dark sky&#8221;. It is protected from lights from cities and is perfect for watching the stars. Though in summer you won\u00b4t see as many, as the sky does not go peach black as in the winter.<\/p>\n<p>As mentioned before you\u00b4ll also find M\u00f8ns Klint here. M\u00f8ns Klint is definately worth a visit. It is a chalk cliffs streching 6 km. and the highest point is 128 m above sea leavel. It is a protected nature reserve and goes back 70 million years. Today, it is still possible to find fossils of various types of shellfish.<\/p>\n<p>It is also at M\u00f8ns Klint you\u00b4ll find the GeoCenter which also is an experience center where you have exciting activities for the hole family.
